A reimagined version of the Future Arc with a traditional murder-mystery killing game plot evocative to the video games. It's not time for him to see if his ideals of hope carry the same meaning they once did back at Hope's Peak Academy or if it's time to make way for a new hope like never before. The first arc is " Dead or Lie" which centers around Makoto Naegi being arrested by the Future Foundation for harboring the Remnants of Despair and dropped straight into the third and final killing game courtesy of Monokuma.
